Its great to share something out of cardiology to our ED colleagues about pain management, how celebrex can help. Thanks Viatris for the invitation!
Great mixtures of staff from ED headed by Dr Farina, Consultant Emergency Physician & Director of Quality.
Celebrex, also known by its generic name celecoxib, is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain and inflammation. It is commonly prescribed for conditions such as arthritis, acute pain, and menstrual pain. Celebrex works by inhibiting an enzyme called COX-2, which plays a key role in the production of inflammatory chemicals in the body. This targeted action helps to reduce pain and swelling with potentially fewer gastrointestinal side effects compared to traditional NSAIDs.
Would like to extend my gratitude to Pei Chuan, Yee Jia & Thivashinni for coming early to prepare.
